dss LT1 Posted June 15, 2006 Share Posted June 15, 2006 I have all of the material to re-cover the seats in my 72 LT1. I have:Leather covers, new foam, new seat backs, install kit incl rods hog rings etc, new hardware, etc. Also have the hog ring pliers and rod pulling tool.Has anyone out there done this before? Anyone willing to lend some expertise?I am looking to do this sometime in July (will be out of town and tied up until after the 4th of July). MY76LT4 Posted July 5, 2006 Share Posted July 5, 2006 A suggestion is to add extra foam in the lower back area for lumbar support. Ths was not usually done back in the early 70's.
