I have no personal experience with the Airaid or the K&N, but I'd stay away from them both. Neither the Airaid nor the K&N are CAIs and aren't even a good filter. The best filter is a Donaldson powercore and the best CAI is a Vararam. The problem is that the Vararam has an even worse filter than most, but gets the most true cold air to the engine. A Vette-air does a pretty good job of providing cold air to the stock Donaldson filter. It'd be even better with a Halltech Beehive shield to seal off the engine heat. The combo costs almost the same as an Airaid and $100 less than a K&N. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
