Anyone done their own tranny and diff service on a C5 six speed or a Z06? I'd like to change out my fluids. Anyone with equipment and experience offering to help? I'll buy your beers. :cheers

Melissa has the space if you wanna' use the "Bryan Ramps".... I'm pretty good with a hammer and a chisel or we can just use vise grips..

I have ramps, a low profile jack and jack stands. Just no way to pump the new fluid in. I guess I could break down and buy a hand pump at AutoZone. Will that pump I bought at the porn shop work? :huh

Let's get together and do em both, Eddie. Sounds like Tim's volunteering to crawl under there and drain the old fluid out for us once Andrew chisel's out the plug. I just don't know why Tim needs duct tape to do that. :crazy

Anyone else?

Mine is the A4 also, not the MN6. If no one has the pump, I'll spring for one.

It might be good to do it at A/M's since those ramps are higher than the typical Rhino ramps. You probably don't have trouble getting under a Vette but some of us "portly" types do.

When are you guys planning on doing this? My diff needs new oil and I've got a suction pump. Not THAT kind Steve, get your mind out of the gutter, I saw the other thread about Shangri La :smilelol. Seeya, Robert

Out of the gutter and into the sewer with the rest of you, eh? :smilelol

My tranny and diff have drain plugs, so I just need a pump to put the new stuff in. I'll check out AutoZone tomorrow and see what they have.

Well if we use Robert's pump and A/M's ramps we would all have minimal expense and it's about 1/2 way between Wickenburg and Apache Junction where you guys live. :lol

I think Andrew volunteered Melissa's house, I mean garage. :huh

Well, I want to do mine soon, as I put a lot of miles on it.

Like I said, I have rhino ramps, jack stands and a low profile floor jack. We can do it at my house.

Eddie, once it's up on the ramps, we can make it higher with the floor jack and put it on jack stands.

I'm up for tomorrow. I need to pick up fluids and a hand pump to put the stuff back in. I have plastic buckets for draining.

I could prolly wait a couple weeks. They sell pumps at AutoZone for $12. I'll pick one up next week.
