dss LT1 Posted February 27, 2006 Share Posted February 27, 2006 I am in Ahwatukee so I guess we have every corner of the Valley covered.This is my 7th Vette, and so far my favorite. I've only had it for 2 weeks. It was shipped in from Modesto, CA. 1972 Corvette LT-1, Pewter Silver with Black Leather. Paint was re-done (original color) in 1985 and looks like it is only a couple years old. The car has only gone about 30k miles since 1980... it has 93k on it. The engine was re-built at 70k miles. It is a complete numbers matching powertrain with the M20 4-spd and the 3.70 rear axle. The entire rear suspension and brakingsystem have been re-built in the last few years. I (Doug Bromley) am re-doing the front suspension & steering to get a good tight road feel back. Next on the to-do list after that are the seats... do you know anyone with experience re-doing these old C-3 seats?My former Vettes; 1969 350/350, 1977 L-48 and L-82 cars, 1992 6-spd Vert, 1996 LT-4 Vert, and a 1999 FRC.WE ARE HUGE WHITE SOX & STEELER FANS - IT HAS BEEN A GREAT YEAR!
