Guest XLR8TNC5
Unfortunately, shipping anything to Canada becomes a huge pain in the ass. I had a guy who wanted my x-pipe and he did the same thing to me. I finally just sold it outright to someone in the USA. Good luck and I wish you the best on getting it all sold. Guest Kens06
First things first!!It's an H pipe not an X pipe!!! Seeing as it is an 02 it's really not an H pipe because the crossover isn't the full 2 1/2" but a 1/2" diameter hole drilled in each main pipe with a 2 1/2" piece welded in to connect the two!!It has been the cause more frustration in '02 and later Z drivers than anything else!"Marbles in a can" on decel was the most common description! The 01 H-pipe was full sized and didn't cause the weird sound effects! This piece made the aftermarket True X-pipe manufacturers a boatload of money!!Sorry Dude but it's the truth!!Go to Z06Vette.com and see what they will offer you for the piece??I'd keep it in case you sell your car and the guy wants the original parts!!BTW, did Mike give you your old cam back??It's worth a whole lot more than that pile of steel in the pics!!Ken
anmracing2
They put a full size pipe over 1/2 inch holes??? Man, that's kinda cheesey....That wouldn't do anything for performance then..... No wonder everyone goes with the X-pipe.Andrew
