92ZR1Wannabe Posted April 29, 2009 Share Posted April 29, 2009 Quick update on the 92:Car goes in this afternoon for a performance transmission overhaul. Along with the rebuild I have a nice shiny PeteK converter going in (Those of you that post on the other corvette forums probably have seen his name). The converters are hand made at a shop in PA called "The Perfect Shift". The converter I selected is a 2800 stall , 9.5in (much lighter then stock) and it is a lockup converter. To keep everything nice and cool I grabbed a nice TCI cooler w install kit.I won't be able to report on the way it drives for another week , I'm headed off to Indy for work Monday so the shop is keeping the car till I return on Friday.
