JohnU
This Oldsmobile was the Ford Excursion of its day, known as the largest production car of 1911. Its six-cylinder engine displaced 707 cubic inches and produced 60 hp. It stands an imposing eight feet tall with the top up, and can carry seven passengers. The estimated curb weight? Around 7000 pounds. It's in the GM Heritage Center in Detroit. Not open to the public.... I got lucky and was able to tag along with another group. Where did the Texas Longhorn logo idea come from? My duty to teach you something new every day is done.
