WHAT !!! ... No ACE Calendar ????? #justsayin Posted Image

That calendar is a "Wild Kingdom" calendar. Remember I work for Mutual of Omaha. You old timers should remeber Marlin Perkins and the "Wild Kingdom" show. They give us those calendars.

Outer office: Sucks in hot, cold, or rainy weather and at night.

Posted Image

Inner office: Has no outside view except the side of the house next door.

Posted Image

Rolling office: Far more fun and better views than the other two.

My very first office as Lead Artist for Air Warrior ..

based on WW2 air combat online on the GEnie BBS, before AOL even.

Posted Image

I was hired to bring Air Warrior into the GUI age and scrap the command line interface,

..along with rework all the 3d environment, models,

..a few years later we were one of the first to develope a way to texture map 3d objects in a real time game environment.

Before that career, my office was a flight line fulla F-4's on most days (13 years in USAF on the line for the most part)

(1975, Udorn-Thani RTAFB, just before the Fall of Saigon)

My last weekend as part of the 4th TFW, was leavin for Korea the next day ..we were playin an air war game based on WW1 called 'Knights of the Air'

..paper, dice, maps .. before 'video games' made all that obsolete :)

..and of course one of my many weekend 'offices' over the years :)

Man she could hook em up off the line .. HARD :)

I don't know Frank. That looks like a WW1 game we played called Ace of Aces...all pics in books, start in a neutral position and go from there. Kind of a cool game, made you think and it worked to pass the time. Kind of a "pointy head" thing. :P That looks like a 428th TFS patch on that SRA's/Buck Sgt. shirt across from you.
