The Gila Bend BBQ Cruise was our very first ACE event a couple years ago and it was an awesome way to meet everyone and get involved in the "corvette culture"!

We hope to make the Cave Creek lunch run on 2/4, and will DEFINITELY look forward to joining everyone for the bbq run!

On our first Gila Bend visit we all wore the wildest shirts possible.......any theme ideas for this one?

i think any event warrants wild shirts - i think dwayne and bryan like the hawaiian shirts, me, i'll just wear a regular ol' T shirt

It will be "Wear your ACE shirts" theme.

I may do the Hawaiian over the ACE shirt and see how that works.

For those that don't have an ACE shirt, a car themed shirt will do.

Yeah, even those Mopar shirts I suppose :rolleyes .

OK, time to throw a wrench into this whole set-up.

Guess we could all meet somewhere in GB, cause it looks like if I go, it'll be I8, don't see much alternative for the Old Pueblo.

86 to 85 is an option, however, it looks like I may be the only one coming from this direction. (I've lurked long enough, just waiting on an event somewhat in this direction.)

If you guys decide to take 347, we could meet up at the exit, or, just meet in Gila Bend somewhere.

Also planning on the Sierra Vista run, at least the Saturday part, so I'll check in on that thread over there.

Im for meeting the West SIIIDE peeps at Lowe's. What time? Then we head over to Krispy Cardiac Arrest.....

Cool.

T

which Lowes, and yes what time ???

Also do I have to put some Vette badges on mt escort to attend :D

Lowes just north of I-10 on Dysart. Or you can meet up with the east side group at Krispy Kreme at Arizona Mills mall. See the very first post for times.

And no badges needed. This group has let fords attend before (never an escort though).

If Glenn is out of town, Caitlin and I will be attending in the ELEMENT. :leaving:smilelol

We are not takeing 347 to I-8. We are taking 347 to 238, through Mobile and into Gila Bend from the East.

If you are coming up from the south I highly recommed you just take I-8 to the first Gila Bend exit. From there follow S. Butterfield Trl ( the road you are on when you exit I-8 and head to Gila Bend) over the tracks and over the main road. Turn right onto the main road, Pima Rd (85) and follow it west. Turn right on N. Euclid Ave. Go north to Richards St and then turn left. The party will be on the NW corner of Richards and Logan Ave, just look for the Corvettes.

If you miss Euclid Ave, turn on right on N. Scott Ave and take that to Richards. Hang a right and look for the Corvettes.

I'd like to go! I may have to beg off early, but I just read the thread.. sounds fantastic. I can't make a whole day out of it.. with Stacy in the hospital.

I will probably bring my nephew Sean, he digs the vettes. Let me know if I can bring anything... my mom makes a great potato salad(wife good cook.. no kitchen in her room.. ripoff!)

Wheeeeeeeeeeeee!

Hey Kameron, I see you're back on here. Will the wife let you come out and play on the 18th?

Tell her I'll get you the below button so that DPS recognizes you this time. :D
