azslim
Ouch, Dan that really hurts Nothing wrong with a crossfire, lowest dyno and all! Dwayne and I met last year at the pavillions, some parking lot director decided to have the "older vets move over a row to let the new ones in corvette row. Of course he directed me behind Dwayne and then let Dwayne back into me. Small damage on mine. Some sanding and touch up paint and no one knows. Dwayne got the worst. He was a gentalman and offered to pay to fix mine. As it turned out Chapman wanted $700.00. So I'm a handy guy and did the work myself. No hard feelings . Like Dwayne I stayed away from the Pavillions for a long time and have only been back once to visit with friends. Parked away from all the action. I'll see ya all Sat. 3,503 lbs of trouble
Ouch, Dan that really hurts Nothing wrong with a crossfire, lowest dyno and all! Hey Thom, If you see my taking a swipe at a Crossfire, I'm actually only picking on Dwayne. Hate to admit it, but until my next Vette he can take me in a straight line. You have one of the nicest C4s I've ever seen, so don't take my crossfire comments seriously!
Desertdawg
Umm Dan,I think I can take you not only in a straight line, but a crooked line, a curvy line, and possibly even a corkscrew line...And I can probably even stop quicker then you... What I can't do is cook breakfast on my hood... BTW, remember there were a couple of C3 years with only 170 hp out the door...

I think he said he saw it posted on dmchelp, but I don'tremember.Anyway, it seems we are creating a few waves nationally about thisstupid claim!Johnny5518As far as I'm concerned, the issue has passed. Just wanted to show that yes, it did create a bit of a buzz in the community.
Desertdawg
In my opinion, if you guys would just paint those things a decent off white, you wouldn't draw so much attention to yourselves...
