What you guys paying. Paid $195 in July, $165 in August, and $145 in September.

Put things in perspective

1300sq ft house, not the most energy efficient. T-stat at 78. 12 Seer Trane AC Unit

Hot tub (disconnected at the end of July)

Irrigating over half an acre from a well (daily in July, some days twice because of the new section of grass). Sprinklers have been cut back to 3 times a week.

Hmm I lay a cool $210 down a month.

1200 sq ft house ,, brand new 12 seer coleman... t stat set at 72 (my wifes the ice queen)

If i jacked it up to 78 im sure i would save alot , but i doubt my ears could handle the "stress"

Here we pay about $100 per 1000 sf during the hot months $180-$200, little bit less than half that the rest of the year.

1400 sqf.

12 seer (3 years old)

T stat set between 75 and 73 (depends on who is hot or cold)

Equalizer payments of $101.00 ( :bang beat that suckers :lol )

BTW 18 years ago we ditched the electric stove, and went to natural gas, it knocked about $80.00 a month off of our bill...With the stove, house and water heater, our gas bill has never gone over about $40.00

That's no surprise with your wife having to feed you! Surprised the savings wasn't more :smilelol:smilelol

Mine are averaged by APS at $135 mo with highs in the summer around $230 to $250. That's 3000 sq ft. with a 12 yr old AC unit. Kids are all gone and wife likes to keep the stat at 78 degrees. She also is anal about doing laundry, baking etc between 9pm and 9am (off peak hrs).

Thanks all, good info. figured my power bill wasn't to bad and was right. In July my water pump would run 8+ hours. As for the electric stove, we never use that thing. I'm usually in the $80 range in the winter with a hot tub situated outside.
