More information on the foundation is avail herehttp://www.jennabearsfoundation.org/the pdf file for the car show to register is avail herehttp://www.jennabearsfoundation.org/registration.pdfIt would really be great to have AZ Corvette Enthusiasts come out to support this good cause

The first 100 get shirts and dash plaques, i believe it says and as of this weekend there were still spots left to take advantage of that
ChadC
Well I guess ill be the bad guy here. Chris this forum is about Corvettes. I encourage you to talk, eat, sleep, joke, ask, inform, play, joke, scream, debate, or communicate something about vets.We use this forum to organize get togethers and we use this forum keep in touch with the new friends that we have made at the get togethers. You have contributed nothing to this group except for a plea for involvement (with a price tag) and a guilt trip. For me, with out meeting you in person this post is considered SPAM in my book. A request for time and money with out merit. It looks like you have a good group over at highperformancestangs.com, but you have been there for a while, people know you and they want to help you out. You have not made the same investment in our group before asking for involvement. Why should I do this? I don’t know you. You have not introduced yourself. All that I know is that you have suffered a horrible tragedy by the loss of your child and you want us to come to your first car show. Please don’t consider my negative reply as the tone for all of the ACE members. Im just one guy. As a technical note the View Counter is a false representation because it is common for automated web searching devices called Bots to view the content, and catalogue it for search engines like Google. ChadI did not come on here for a plea for involvement with a guilt trip. I came on to inform people of a car show coming up in March with all the proceeds going for a good cause. I posted up a link to the website's foundation for people who wanted to know more about what the foundation all the entry fee's are going to, since many probely do not know what it is. i've met people from this site at a car show on bell at the chevy dealership back in dec. Spoke to a gentalmen with a sunset orange corvette for a while, he informed me of the site and how you guys meet up often. I took it since there was such a good turnout from this club at the Toys 4 Tot car show that members of this site would be intrested in the car show. That being said i did not loose a child a friend and fellow airmen suffered a loss in a tragedy. This post was not looking for your sympathy like you are saying. Yes i signed up on the site without a vette, have the same engine as a lot of the vette owners on here and can share knowledge of that. I am on other sites like hps this is true not sure what your getting at by being on other sites. By the way my name is Jeffrey
ChadC
I did not come on here for a plea for involvement with a guilt trip.respectfully I disagree with you Jeffery. your remarksok i know this is my first post but figured a couple people would have been interested in the show. Guess not thoughgotcha saw 35 views and no reply's....I interpret them with a hint of guilt. I came on to inform people of a car show coming up in March with all the proceeds going for a good cause. That I understand, and your actions are noble. However this club is about involvement not advertising. If you believe that this event is that good then invest your time, energy and show up to several of our events. By doing so we will get a chance to meet you, and establish a connection of who you are and the importance of this car show. Yes we did have a good turn out for the Toys for Tots. I believe we did because of the good cause AND people here know Glenn/ICKLUCKIN. Please understand that the admins here get a lot of "fly by night" people wanting to advertise everything from nitrogen Air to "save the one-eyed-trouser-snake" raffle drive. By you investing your time with the club, others from the club will want to invest there time with you. -Listen ill be frank, I get the feeling you are a car guy. That is the common thread that all of us here have. If I didn’t get that vibe I wouldn’t give 2 shits and would slam your posts. There are several Non-vette members here. we don’t care what you drive, just as long as you drive. I encourage you to come out to an event and hang out. Meet new people. chad
4Jenna
I have requested the mods to remove this post, I'm sure Ruckus (my good friend) never intended this outcome, he was only trying to help out and for that I thank him.I respect your club and don't want any bad vibes as my mission in life now is to only help others.I did no intro...only here because this post was brought to my attention and I wanted to come on and register to make sure and let everyone know I apologize and if this post offended anyone in anyway please know that was not the intent.Chris Eades
Eddie44
I don't think it was the post that upset people. It was the perceived attitude within a short time after the post. To cop an attitude within 24 hrs of making the post upset a few folks. If you or Ruckus had spent some time here on the site you'd have realized there is another show this weekend that folks are preping for. March 29th is over a month away. Give folks a chance to get over this weekends show and I believe you might have gotten some response. A better way to have handled the situation might have been to wait a couple days and give the post a bump, not cop an attitude that no one cared about the show. This is one of the most charitable groups I've ever been involved with and I think eventually there would have been a positive response. If you and/or Ruckus still want this removed we can certainly do that but I'd let it ride. I don't think anyone here is upset that the show was posted, just the attitude so soon.
Ruckus99ss
i apologize if i offeneded anyone with the second post. I knew that it might have sounded like spam that is why i posted i know this is my first post, by no means did i mean it to be taken as coping and attitude. I am sorry it was perceived this way
P51tj
If I remember correctly, wasn't this event held out in the East valley somewhere last year? It was on a weekend that they had 3 or 4 hiway closures. If this was the same or similar event for the same cause, ACE did assemble about 8 vechicles for the show. There should be some intrest in this this year once some of the smoke clears! Thanks to those that have informed and invited ACE! PLZ sure to come out and play with us some time! 4Jenna
When Jenna first passed last year GAME Rides in Chandler put on a benifit show on for Jenna, maybe thats what you remember? If so thank you for the support! This car show is the foundations 1st as we became an offical 501 © (3) not for profit in October of last year, and we have been planning since. I never realized how much work it is to put on a "good" show. The local car community has really reached out to my family, I have been big into the car scene locally for years and thru my loss everyone has really tried to help us! If any of you guys race at Speedworld look for a Blue 95' Mustang, it is the JENNABEARS Foundation car (foundation stickers on it) and is on a mission to run a 9.11et in memory of my princess Jenna, she was born on 9/11/06. Maybe I could even post a thread about the build for her (turbo rustang haha)I'm sure I have also met some of you if you do race, I also work at Speedworld doing Tech, and Starter.Chris

Ruckus is a good guy and i met him at the track at speedworld! He is fun to hang with and his camaro will eat most Z06's! 4Jenna i applaud your efforts and have 2 young girls myself and could not even to begin to walk in your shoes! People like you make this world a better place and we will come to your events yearly!
