Guest 1FASTC4
I'm a bit confused after doing some reasearch/reading. The door panel on the passenger side won't...stay attached at the top. Whatever it is supposed to attach to ... doesn't seem to work. It seems like there is a lip on the top of the panel that is supposed to hook on to the door frame but this "lip" seems bent and worn out.Must I replace the entire panel to get this fixed? I've looked at this a few times from the gap in the top of the door and haven't really figured it out. Thanks for any help, Steve
84vette
that is the problem i have had since i bought my car. new doorpanels in my oppinion dont work, i bought two new panels a few months after i bought the car and the top lip broke within the first week. so i currently have the passenger lip reinforced with drip edge off a house, and the driver side i reinforced by using fiberglass molding. also i bought some metal reinforcements for the armrest, where you grab it to close the door. and dont forget liquid nail is your friend.
