Desertdawg
Pokerstars never ceases to amaze me.Last night playing a $10.00 no limit hold-em. 9 players.3 of us in the hand I have pocket 8's (diamond & heart)Flop = 8 club 10 diamond Jack diamondbetting 200 chips, I'm in the 3rd seat so I call along with the other 2.4th street = King diamondbetting 450 chips, I call along with the other 2 again.river = 8 spadeNow I have quad 8's... (do you see where this is going yet?)Betting... First guy with the most chips go's all in..Second guy same chips as me callsMe I call all in to. (Would be stupid to fold now...)Hands flip over.. First guy has a 7 diamond 6 diamond (King high Flush) Yeah I got this one in the bag!!!!!Then over flips the second guys hand... He has the Queen and the ACE of diamonds in his damn pocket... My quad 8's get beat by the only hand out there to be 4 of a kind... A damn Royal Flush. Now whats the odds of the top 2 best hands dealt at the same time????Sorry You have been eliminated in 5th position...
