My biggest complaint about Extreme, when I was doing business with them, was they have an answering service. If I wanted to leave a message I would just send an email. Customers want to talk to another person. If the person I want to talk to at ADS is not available I know I spoke to someone at the shop and left a message.Pretty low tech, but its good customer service. For the record, its not that they have time to just sit around and answer phones, but like any good business they realize that a phone call is a potential sale. When you dont answer the phone you clients come on forums and ask why your service is so $hitty. Shops that are staffed properly have the ability to take every call and answer questions. We personally do not know anyone from ADS on this forum. We know that Adi and Barb go there along with you, and that is perfectly fine. You did not piss us off with AZPS or Extreme. We go where we trust and where we were recommended, and we post good or bad results. We welcome ADS to sign up and to give their input like Jason L does for Extreme. Here is they're chance... Greg (owner of ADS) does not want his employees trolling boards to get work and does not expect them to troll the boards after hours on their own time. These are family oriented people and want to spend time with their children during the off hours.ADS in my opinion does not consider themselves a speedshop and have plenty of business doing general repair due to their shining reputation; regardsless of turning out some of the sickest sandrails, streetrods, road race cars, drag cars, and even rhinos that this valley has ever seen. I know we have all seen speedshops come and go. The reason for this is because the margins are low in the speedshop world and everyone is trying to cut everyone elses throat. But being experts in general repair opens your doors to the aftermarket, and there is quite a following for ADS in the racing world. Some of the fastest cars in this valley (and no Im not talking about me) were built there. For Example, John Thompsons 65 mustang and Doug Driggers 85 Mustang GT both ran 8's.Extreme does good work but I have had words more than once with Dave Smilovic (Majority Owner of Extreme)... So that is why they dont get my business. ADS has always performed quality work at a fair price and stood behind it. Regardsless if they are on the board or not, you never see a why is 'ADS not taking me' of thread of this forum or any other. Xtreme apologized for not being readily available and sent me emails after Jason got involved! Thanks Jason! Another shop i called and left a message never returned my call as of today still! And the place Glen refered me to ADS did answer my call listened to my questions and said they would call me back! Guess what i never have been called back!!!!So ADC no answer,ADS no return call with my pricing, Xtreme call backs let me buy my own parts and treated me very well!Thanks Xtreme you guys are a class act and i appreciate the service Jason provided and i really enjoy talking to Daryl(Road racing Junkie!)So everyone has their ups and downs but in the end the guy who took the time to make it right got the cash!!! And if ADS considers it not right to participate and welcome us they will never see a dime of my cash! And i have a five figure budget for the 2008 year to spend on my car!
