Guest Kens06
OK,When will we see the 'dually' conversion kit for a Vette???How about eight ply DR's so I can take a passenger down the track!!!Un-f'n-real!!Bridgestone/Firestone puts out a POS substandard product and this is the answer, more gov regulations??How about all the other tire companies that made tires in the Ford SUV sizes that didn't have problems?I guess they only sold to skinny people??New sign for glove box.If you weigh more than 140, you better call a cab! coconut girl
That is unreal! What if you have one fat guy driving. Will the tires blow out on the left side? You would like American car manufactures would go with better average weights.I do remember when we lived in Hawaii and were charting a helicopter ride with our friend, they told us 4 Americans or 6 Japanese would fit!!! Grayeagle
On size.....downtown Taegu Korea, in a shopping mall, at the top of the escalator.Escalator had about 70 people comin up, friend and I lookin down at it from the exit point.I figured if I took a flyin jump spread eagled I could prolly have squashed most of 'em.I could see over the top of all the shelves ..it was like my friend and I were the only two in the store ;)I really did feel like a giant walkin thru town there ..average height was half my 6'2"-Frank

Bigfoot
"Automakers say the limits reflect a mandated federal formula that requires them to rate passengers at 150 pounds each. The limit may not be realistic "given American propensity for food, but that is the regulation," says Mazda safety director Dan Ryan."I'm 6'3" and in high school I was a string bean at 164lbs!!! I'm around 220 now and that 150 in the formula is no way realistic.Yes, the U.S. is a fat country anymore...but someone needs to get a clue.
