Robert and Elizabeth Posted September 3, 2007 Share Posted September 3, 2007 A lot of ACE members have asked me why I don't set up the monthly lunches anymore. Believe me, it is nothing personal against ACE or it's members. But, I feel I should explain why. Well, I have been working my new job and have been promoted to Charge RN for my department and am in training on how to do it right. Also, I have been working extra shifts to pay for Vanessa's mods. Lastly, the kids started school, Robert started school and all of us are just getting over the "crud" we caught. I am not going to be able to attend or plan any lunches until the December lunch. So, as December approaches, I will start the thread for the December ACE lunch then, providing nothing unexpected comes up. Hope you all understand. E~BTW, I am down almost 80lbs!! Woo Hoo!! It is appreciated when you step up and put together the lunches but work and family need to come first. Someone will jump in even if it's last minute to come up with someplace for us to gather. We have not been to an ACE event all summer long, we will be wondering who is this new person! Getting cooler and then we will be back at it, we just head up north during the summer months to cool off. Family and work really do take a toll sometimes, but we all have to do it!
