CORVETTE RACING NO. 4 POST TOP TIME IN KLEIN TOOLS PIT CREW

The semifinal round for the American Le Mans Series' third annual Klein Tools Pit Stop Competition was held at Detroit's Belle Isle Park Friday with four teams advancing to the Oct. 19 finals at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

Posting the best time was Corvette Racing No. 4 featuring drivers Olivier Beretta and Oliver Gavin. The duo's crew had a driver exchange time, including fuel simulation and four-tire change, of 44.12. The times were extremely competitive, however, as the crew of Corvette Racing No. 3 (drivers Johnny O'Connell and Jan Magnusson) turned in time of 44.29 against Dyson Racing's No. 20 squad that posted a 44.32. The 0.03-second difference was the closest of any pairing in the three years of the competition. Rounding out the Top Four was Dyson Racing No. 16 with a 48.80 change time.
