Blower Drive Service has come out with an LS-1 blower kit for the LS-1 motors that just warms the cockles of my hot rod heart :)

Imagine *that* stickin into the breeze .. kinda screams 'hot rod' eh?

The 'old school' blower lives again .. bug catcher, injectors, 6-71 iron lung, and that huge 2" toothed belt drivin it. Like Mr. Smith said in 'Independence Day' .. "I gotta GET me one o' THESE!'

Article is here:

Now I know what I am savin up for .. and .. er .. a jig saw ..to cut what is gonna be a *huge* hole in the middle of that hood!!

Places like Zip Corvettes has some centrifugal supercharger kits for C5's and Z06's. Has anyone used any of those?

I know we really like our 6-71. We never even turn the radio on. Just listen to the sweet sounds of the huffer. :D

Frank, count me in for that! There's a old school vette in the window of Buck motors on main in Mesa that has the big blower. It gives me fits every time I see it-just itching to take it out! Someday my friend...someday...sigh....

I've got a sabre saw. We could take care of both the Goat and Vette at the same time. :D
