Personalized License Plate

Well, after seeing so many cute and imaginative license plates on the Gila Bend cruise, we decided to get one for our Z. We chose: PDQWK on the ASU styled plate. It stands for "pretty darn quick". With the ASU plate, you are limited to only 5 letters, so we have been back and forth on what to put on it. So, Robert came up with this one and I liked it. We just have to wait and see if it gets approved. :toetap

Next, we got the large CAM installed on the Z, but the headers are on back order for 2-3 wks. We will just have a base tune by Nic, and will do the performance tune when we get the headers/full exhaust put on. Also, we have decided to have the heads ported, so that may happen at the same time as the header install. When all is said and done, we should be good for around 600HP at the wheels and around 700+ at the motor. That darn Mike at AZPS is sure a good salesman! :yesnod How could anyone resist those kinds of numbers! :thumbs I guess our next purchase will be the Hoosier DRs that just came out in our size since we will probably have issues again with traction on the pilot sports. :lol More on this later...

When and how do we find out if it has been approved/not approved? This is our first personalized plate, so we are very unfamiliar about the process.

You'll either get your plate in the mail or a reject letter. I suppose you could guess that it was approved if you continually went to the ServiceAZ website and checked to see if that plate was available. I'm sure as soon as they issue it you'd get a "already taken" from that site.

It is showing up on Service Arizona as "not available", so I guess we were approved! Yippee! :thumbs

Not necessarily. My first choice showed not available. In fact it still does, but it was denied. Good luck though!
