I realize I am new to this forum but I thought you would like to know "Its alive, alive I tell you!".

The 383 is running in my 84. Tons of work left to do but I went out for a little putt around the block yesterday after firing her up. Let's just say she is rather "snappy".

Cool !!! How soon before it sees some track time ?

Mine is finally back on the road again (sort of). I need to go pass emissions for my sticker and get the brakes pressure bled / flushed.

Bryan, could I suggest you wait until after emmissions to get the brakes bleed? Might be worth the price of admission to see the look on the inspector's face as he pulled it on/off the roller. :D

It will probably be about a month - I need to sort out a minor oil leak, finish hooking everything else up and get it to the exhaust shop.

What happended to the dyno guy? I sent him a email but he never responded.
