Driver's side view mirror replacement -C6

Not sure anyone has experienced an issue with an auto dimming/heated side mirror deteriorating and turning a shade of yellowish brown.  Looking to have replaced and for recommendations.

You can just replace the glass for a fraction of the cost of having to purchase the entire assembly, plus having to pay for having the housing color matched. I haven't had this issue but my passenger side mirror does vibrate some at speed and I have found videos on You tube showing how to replace the glass yourself.

I tried the cheapskate method with the stick on replacement, it works and I don’t think anyone would ever notice it’s not the stock piece. 
That said, if I get a roundtoit I’ll probably look for the video of how to replace it and go that route.

Tanks and appreciate that ide. Gerber collision, the first of 3 businesses to provide a quote, was $358 to replace the glass. Price jumped $200 if any of the pins broke within the mirror housing requiring whole side mirror replacement including paint.
