Jim Mero a former corvette engineer with GM will be here in Mesa from 10-13 April doing C6 magnetic ride upgrades. +4 Jim Mero 23h · To Owners of 2009 to 2013 Corvettes with Magnetic Ride Control Hello everyone, For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Jim Mero. From 2004 to 2018, I was the Ride and Handling Development Engineer for General Motors on the Corvette. I retired In September 2018. A brief history: Before my retirement from General Motors on the Corvette, in 2017 and 2018, I developed a new tuning philosophy for Magnetic Ride Control and implemented it into every 2019 C7 Corvette. Those calibrations were so successful, improving both the ride and handling for every C7 model, we decided to make them available for upgrade to anyone who owned a C7 back to the 2014 models. Those cars were updated at the dealership. After I retired, I thought to myself “what about the C6 owners”. “What if I used the same philosophy to update the C6 calibrations”. So I did it and I am pleased that the improvements the C6 owners are experiencing are as good or greater than the improvements the C7 owners realized. To date we have upgraded almost 1,ooo cars. I offer a 100% money back guarantee, and we are humbled that we have not had one car come back. My wife, Terri and I have committed to take a cross country trip this spring to upgrade the Magnetic Ride Control calibrations on 2009 to 2013 Corvettes. The trip will take place the months of April and May, 2023. Maps and itinerary are below. These upgrades will vastly improve both the ride and the handling of your Corvette. The new calibrations will be significantly smoother over rough roads, yet handle better in the curves. I can assure you, you will feel like you got a new car. The calibrations are transparent to the car. No other modules, electrical communications, emissions, or systems are affected. Any kind of aftermarket powertrain upgrades will not be affected. The programming is performed through the OBD2 port and only takes a few minutes. I invite you to visit my website www.jimmero.com There you can view the options available for each model Corvette, and more importantly, view testimonials from Corvette owners who have received the upgrade. If you are interested in receiving the upgrades, or have any questions, please contact me through my contact page on the website. Also we would be forever grateful if anyone can pass this information on to any person they know with a 2009 to 2013 Corvette fitted with Magnetic Ride Control. The Cost is $450 for standard road calibrations and $550 for specialty calibrations (Road Course, Drag and Roll Racing) and worth every penny. Thank you for your consideration. Please note that we are expecting to make stops to upgrade cars along the route on our travel days. So if you live near our route, we will arrange for a place to meet
Desertdawg
I met Jim on a rainy day in Gila Bend the year they were testing the C7, it was just after they took it to the Nurburgring. Cool guy who took a few minutes out of his trip to talk to a hairy railroader. I don’t have mag ride, but maybe I can catch him passing thru again.
