We're in.

However, We intend to do more than drive 3 hours to simply have lunch and go home.

If anyone wants to join us after lunch to enjoy a trip into Walnut Canyon National Monument https://www.nps.gov/waca/index.htm (about 10 miles East of Flagstaff) and enjoy some cool weather outside the car and restaurant, I'll be happy to lead the group.

It's a Federally operated facility and charges an entrance fee of $12 per person unless you have one of the several passes available on their entrance pass website. https://www.nps.gov/planyourvisit/passes.htm

We are also in and would also like to participate in the Walnut Canyon excursion!  Sounds like fun!

Mary & I are in.  We will be driving up from Green Valley that Friday night for the Meet Point launch on Saturday and will probably use my senior parks pass for the Walnut Canyon and then spending the night somewhere around Flagstaff. Probably will be finding some PieHole Porter at Historic Brewing.

Maybe maybe +1. Summer hit so fast just like it does in previous years. I’m in my melting phase currently. I’m sure I’ll be acclimated to going outside by August. 😂

If I’m able to walk under my own power and not with the use of my walker w/training wheels I’ll be there! I was told it was going to take anywhere from 3 to 6 months to walk unassisted. So here’s to hoping and praying!

I gotta give the restaurant a head count tomorrow, so if you are going and haven't posted up yet (or if you planned to go but are now dropping out) please post up so the count is accurate...

You want to start over with the head count and you expect everyone to read this notice and respond in the next 24 hours?

Ummm..... No.

I ask this same question every year.  The "post up if you are going" is INTENDED FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVEN'T POSTED UP YET.

Sorry I didn't make that clear enough.  Here, I'll try again. . . .:howdy

If you have ALREADY SAID YOU ARE ATTENDING, NO ACTION IS NECESSARY

If you are PLANNING TO ATTEND BUT HAVE NOT YET SAID SO, PLEASE POST UP THAT YOU ARE "IN.".

If you have SAID YOU ARE ATTENDING BUT NOW YOU'RE NOT, PLEASE POST UP THAT YOU ARE "OUT."

Thank you.

. . . no. . .  If other groups want to participate with us, they are totally welcome, but they need to let us know they are coming.

I can't look at their FB stuff without joining their group, and that's not happening.  I HATE FACEBOOK, remember?  I am only on there at all because I was forced to join due to ACE admin duties. . .:rant
