nort99
What is standard on the C6 rear end Ratio?
1EvilC5
Put it in "3" and drive 75 mph. Then look at your RPMs and if you are at 3400 then the ratio is 3.40. So what ever your RPMs are at, that would be your ratio.
sloryde
If its an '05 auto then it has the same gears as the c-5. If its an '06 then you really dont need to gear it as the first gear in the a-6 is so low that its the equivalent of having 3.90 gears in the a-4. I know the a-6 has 2.50something rear gears, but thats 2006-2007 only. Hope this helps...Joe

Purdue
Manual C6's (05-07) come with 3.42'sAutomatic 05's (A4)come with standard 2.73's or 3.15's as a performace axle option.Automatic 06's (A6) come with 2.56's (no performance axle needed).Joe was correct the A6 launches very hard and the 2.56's overall number is misleading unless you calculate each gear ratio.
