*** SOLD *** 1986 Monte Carlo SS OEM T-Top handles for sale

I am putting these up for sale here before advertising on other sites.

I found my 1986 Monte Carlo SS T-Top handles (without screws) I was storing.

I do not have this vehicle anymore. I purchased it new in 1986.

I also have a never used OEM windshield washer pump in the original GM box for this car that I purchased in the late nineties. I never got a chance to replace the pump.

T-Top handles (without screws): asking $50.00 for the pair

Windshield washer pump: $60.00

Open to reasonable offers.

This is what ours looked like:

1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS

Maroon interior and smoked T-Tops.

Unfortunately, it was stolen in 1999 from my work parking lot in view of cameras and security. It was parked in the second closest spot to the entrance.

We viewed the recordings and saw the thieves pull up in a small pickup, guy got out and drove off in 51 seconds. I had an aftermarket high end alarm system, and a gorilla steering wheel bar.

Police said they probably found the car, got the VIN and had a key made. Not sure how they got the Gorilla lock off,  police said they probably "froze" it and shattered or cut the wheel.

They recovered it a few weeks later, but it was stripped and they attempted to burn it.

😠

I loved my Monte, I had an 83, that thing was gorgeous but was thee easiest thing to break into; had the stereo stolen out of it 3 different damn times.  GM did a pretty poor job in that era in regards to security, in fact I don't think they gave it a second thought, so easy to get into that car.

I probably would've been better off just leaving the thing unlocked.  Ended up putting the factory radio back in it but they still broke into it the last time and took that.  Went to the salvage yard, got the replacement parts, and got rid of the car

Mine was black and red with a maroon interior. The 305 was a POS engine but I loved the looks of the car.

I bought it for the looks, I didn't have the SS.  The drive train was a dog for sure.  Mine was brown (like the new GM Oxford brown metallic) with a tan landau top and (for the time) it was freaking gorgeous
