Desertdawg Posted April 10, 2020 Author Share Posted April 10, 2020 Nice job Dryheat, as soon as we are all happy I’ll make it the banner. just fyi to the few nit-picky concerns, the newest generation needs to be red, (Zora said all corvettes are red) the rest of the years are represented in a matching color to not draw your focus away from the newest. the white is a representation of each generations version of white (I.e. C1 = Polo white. C2 = Ermine white C3 = Classic white ...) never figured out the verts to hard top, but it’s been that way since the first versions of that photo.. Convertibles, as far as automobiles are concerned, are passenger cars that can be driven with or without a roof in place and allow an open-air driving experience. So then by definition, all Corvettes are convertibles with the exception of the few fixed roof versions of C2's, C5's & Z06/ZR1's, which are the only true Coupes. i.e. the roof can be "converted" from open to closed. I have modified my C8 specs to mimic my very first Corvette: In December 1972 I ordered a brand new '73 C3 Convertible 4-speed, silver with saddle leather interior + color matched removable hardtop!
