I don't know how similar those shocks are to the shocks on the C6 with F55 Magnetic Ride, but I could tell mine needed to be replaced because they were obviously leaking. The F55 shocks were $743 EACH wholesale 2 years ago when I had to replace mine. I hope the FE4 ones are not that pricey but based on the price you're being quoted, they probably are!
