Looking to see if Ed is still at Coulter.

The Z has just developed the infamous gas smell.

I'm still not up to dropping a trans just yet + it should be covered under the special warranty

Yes he was there as of July 3, that's when mine went in for the gas smell. Actually Dale had to handle mine as it was under an extended warranty I had, I was past the ten year mark by 3 months....

 

They did a very good job, no issues of any kind to report on.

Ron I read that yours was past warranty. but was covered under the Extended Warranty you had.

Hoping thats not the case with mine but mine too is a 09

Check your "in service" date on any GM document where a dealer did anything to the car. One day after that date and you're on your own, since they can't fudge dates like they can mileage.
