Has anyone had good (or bad) luck with specialty car insurance?  

Specifically for low annual mileage and agreed-upon-value?

For a total loss or theft you never know what those premiums you paid all the years will get you until it’s too late.

We use Hagerty for Julies 78'. No issues so far with them. We even had to replace her windshield last year and they told us to take it wherever we wanted and they paid for it, no questions asked.

FYI  Most specialty insurance will require garages and other daily drivers.  Some limit the usage or total mileage per year.  I've used Hagerty with no issues too.

I used Hagerty when I had my 66. They required a garage, other daily driver and had no mileage limit. We agreed on a replacement value should it be totaled or stolen.

I had a claim on a vintage motorcycle.  Sent in the estimate and the check was in the mail.
