HOXXOH Posted July 26, 2018 Share Posted July 26, 2018 After two weeks at Cracker Barrel, the general consensus was that it didn't work as well as JB's to consider going there on an alternating basis. While the menu selection and the food was fine for the most part, the sound level between other people and the music, made conversation very very difficult. Since conversation is the main reason for the gathering, JB's wins that criteria hands down. There were a few other minor issues, but the noise drowned out those concerns. This doesn't mean the selection process is done permanently, but any new suggestions by participants still need to meet the previous requirements. Not possible with as few miles you've driven and you haven't even replaced tires yet. If WOT was a failure concern, I'd already used up several. See you Tuesday??? Front tires were down past the tread bars, right rear was plugged and had a big gash in it. I just put 4 new tires on it Friday. I do plan to be at the lunch on Tuesday. She also "wowed" us with a "purse hanger" that keeps your purse off the floor!!! My wife insisted we stop on the way home so she could buy one! There's a mystery Audi parked amidst the Geezers?
