Father's Day Cottonwood Cruise & Picnic - Saturday, June 9

Recommended Posts

The 9th Annual Father's Day Cruse and Picnic is once again scheduled for a wonderful drive to Cottonwood and optionally on to Sedona.
This is the weekend before Father's Day so everyone can still celebrate the holiday with family.

The picnic destination in Cottonwood's Garrison Park, last year, was almost as perfect as you could ask for. Plenty of picnic bench seating under a huge ramada, and additional shade trees for those that want a true blanket picnic.

You are required to bring your own sack lunch or food to grill for a picnic.

  • Two charcoal grills are available to cook your own, but you will also be required to bring any items necessary to grill. E.g. Charcoal, fire, utensils, etc.
  • There's one medium sized ramada with 6 picnic tables, a nearby restroom, and a playground.
  • There is limited parking next to the ramada, but plenty of spaces, just a short distance, SE of the ramada and playground.

WHEN: Saturday, June 9th (Weekend before Father's Day)

Destination: Garrison Park, Cottonwood, AZ (Picnic spot)

Who: ACE members post up in this thread if you can make it, I'll update the 1st post with the list.

Any problem with a Roush  mustang joining the group?

Chas

Nope, that’s fine. We’ve had all sorts; Challenger, BMW, and a Tesla one year.

Sorry but I’m gonna miss this one. A very dear friend died and his daughter scheduled the funeral on June 9 at 10:30.

Sorry we are gonna miss this one this year, had lots of fun last year but my daughter is getting married on the 9th.

We must travel to Austin...

Have fun all, driving and :eat:....

(Yes that is 2 weddings in two weeks)

What are the odds they both get married in the same year... 🤤

Yeah... I'll add you to the impromptu "going list", and all you need to do is show up before the departure time at the launch point as noted in the first post... or at the other intermediary points (S/E side) that cruise together to congregate at the launch point.  See ya there!
