scottcolbath Posted March 2, 2018 Share Posted March 2, 2018 This was my Thursday, last week. I get pretty awesome access to some air bases. NAF El Centro is the winter home of the Blue Angels, and I get out to see them at least once (on base), and another time or two for other activities during the year. Anyway, after shooting an off base, and then on base practice of the Blue Angels, I get to go to the regular traffic runway for whatever may becoming and going. It looked like the NATO birds were in air to air mode and the Navy ones were in air to ground since they were the ones carrying the 25 lb BDU-33 practice bombs. Thank you for sharin! Thanks, and I shit you not.....This T-34 pulled up and this dude and one other got out of it, straight from Central Casting in Hollywood. They were there to work on the touch-and-gos that the Marine F-18s were there to practice. The two from the T-34 go into what is called the LSO (Landing Signal Officer) Shack, and rate/critique the landings of the pilots in the 18s.
