SLAMMER Posted February 22, 2018 Share Posted February 22, 2018 TRANSMISSION IS OUT OF CAR Damage caused by faulty pump in transmission I’m told. (Too much pressure) blew the end apart! Sent back to Yank to be repaired, cut & cleaned. Transmission all crated up and on its way to Century Transmissions in Texas. Should handle up to 1000 HP with new build. GOOD TIME TO REPLACE OLDER WARN PARTS. Lower rear A arms are no longer serviceable (ball joints) GM’s idea! So now you have to replace the entire assembly. (Fronts are still serviceable) With drivers rear hub needing replacement I’ve now replaced all 4 hubs. All parts have been ordered, Now we have to wait........................ While I was waiting I took my BillyBoat FUSION exhaust back to manufacture for some repairs of some cracked gussets. They were VERY helpful and gave me ZERO HASSELS for warranty repairs. SLAMMER😎 Well, the broken metal from the torque converter caused the total failure of the transmission pump and soliniod. This upped the bill $1000. Transmission was picked up @ Century Transmission yesterday and due to arrive Thursday at freight carriers Hub in Pheonix. All other parts have either arrived or will be in my hands today. Nice thing about our rentals is no cage, I trap 162 with no chute and no guff. It's all in good fun man, plenty of return for no tech and no getting booted like stupid Wildhorse will do. Got sent overnight from GM parts place in Tennessee and delivered to PHIL yesterday afternoon If all goes smoothly I may be at the GB BBQ (Fingers crossed)🤞it’s a love hate thing with PHIL & my RED CAR He loves❤️ To See it leave his Shop.... & he HATES to work on RED CARS Something about them being CURSED!!
