The first Corvette at the 24 hrs of Daytona finished more than one lap down to both of Ganassi's Ford GT's. You don't consider that embarrassing ? Desertdawg Posted February 3, 2018 Share Posted February 3, 2018 It’s only embarrassing if the were equal. The BoP screws even the best teams. Both the BMW’s and the Porches should have done way better. Teh beemers really did bad considering it’s a new car, unless they decided to sandbag it some for better results later in the season. To me even the Vettes are down on performance due to BoP. Getting outrun on every lap by teh ferds is just an unfair advantage. Loosing by one lap or twenty with no chance to ever catch the leaders on the track is a BoP issue. If we had beat them due to a pit stop strategy it would still be unfair since we couldn’t even keep up on lap times. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
