Detail Day at Ted's, Saturday, March 3rd at 8:00 AM

Recommended Posts

I will be hosting a detail day. I would like to have an open house at my garage for all to attend. It will be at 9051 W Quail Track Drive, Peoria, AZ 85383.

I am open to ideas of what you would like to learn about. We can share ideas if there is something you would like to learn about, including:

Safer washing techniques

How to use a clay bar and the newer style decontamination mitts

How to use an iron remover

Paint condition inspection and paint thickness

What is the difference between a cutting compound and a polish

Buffer differences and techniques

How to finish polish for a jeweled surface

Waxes, sealants, and ceramic coatings

Wet sanding

Interior care

Carpet extractors

Steamers

Etc!

The idea is not to polish any one person's car from start to finish, but instead to go through a system of education and information. If you have a specific issue with your car, we can talk about it. Also, if you have any products or tools you'd like to try out, bring them along.

Please RSVP in this thread.

Lookin forward to it.

We are gearing up. Going to be ordering some maple bacon donuts and kolaches to snack on in addition to Donna's cinnamon rolls!

I look forward to seeing everyone.

Hoping to attend this event.

Need to learn how to remove the "swirls" caused by the dealer "shining it up" for delivery.

Thanks for hosting Ted.

Great meeting people and putting faces to screen/display names. :)

Very informative presentations. A lot of questions answered and some hands-on time with guidance. The lessons learned will absolutely help me when I attempt to "fix" my paint, and maintain it.
