scottcolbath Posted March 12, 2018 Share Posted March 12, 2018 So, I pull into the gas station in Dateland on Saturday...and I see a bunch of Vettes. I'm in my FRC, which is a friggin' mess. I was out shooting jets at NAF El Centro. Getting off base the day of the air show meant dealing with rain and mud. It sucked. Anyway, I see a couple and ask about the cars. The dude (sorry, I forget your name) says he is from the ACE forum. Well holy shit! So we had a good conversation, and I eventually got on my way, after learning that he and a bunch of others were on their way back to Yuma from the Gila Bend event. Wish I could have made it.
