insatiableOne
Have been unable to locate what sort of steel that the 327 steel crankshaft has. (small journal) I have one that I might chop up and throw in the forge. Read somewhere the 427 had around 1053 or 1055 ish?? many of the newer ones are listed as 4340 nickel chromium molybdenum alloy. So anyone ?? Two Fangs
They are a 1010 alloy. All SJ 327 cranks are forged, and were the preferred crank by many racers back in the day.
