I read the book about this guy's life, way back years ago.  It's a true story, and having just gone to view the movie, I gotta say the movie is pretty factual.

This "conscientious objector" in World War II, enlists to serve as a medic, and ends up saving over 73 G.I.'s after having endured their wrath & hatred in boot camp.

Not going to give anymore away - It is a truly realistically done movie, not the usual movie star stuff.

I LIKED IT!!

I liked it too, told a great story, also was reminded of the true horror of battle, I currently have 2 sons serving, one is an Apache pilot and shoots them up, the other is an operating room technician where they patch them up.
