So, it has begun.......

Just completed it's first dyno pull on the rebuilt shortblock..... best 600/507 corrected on E54 (actually showed 605/517 but the dyno sheet was set to SAE and smoothing 0). With a 1.04 correction factor, that puts me around 580 +/- 5 to the rear wheels with my heavier 20" runflats and a new engine that needs some breakin miles. Once I get a few street miles on her, I'll head to the drag strip for some numbers, along with some VBox data to see what the acceleration curve looks like. I'll get it on the scale when I get a chance to get the weight with 1/4 of fuel and in race trim (drag package).

Then, my last few mod's that I've been wanting....new transmission gearing, a few more carbon fiber body panel replacements, Daytona racing seats, LG G2 coilovers, and some spray.

Then it's on like Donkey Kong !!! ;-)

This looks better.....smoothing set to 5.

 

Blue is Katech 110....red is Katech K501.

Different dyno's, different dyno calibrations, but you can see the powerband shift's to the right just a bit with the K501

On that pass, I hit the brakes so as to not get in trouble and went 11.491@80 ;-)
