Dakotaz Posted April 24, 2016 Share Posted April 24, 2016 Yes it was a great trip. Devil's Highway went after me no doubt. Continued to have the alternator problem three additional times. It seemed to quit working after stopping or getting in traffic. After three to ten miles would start working again. Thinking maybe the alternator getting hot and something breaking connection due to the heat. Thanks Chameleon for organizing everything and it great to meet all of you. Ted Y Posted April 25, 2016 Share Posted April 25, 2016 We got radar'd going the speed limit into town. Donna got followed to the gas station by City Police. The people were nice. Lots of motorcycles on the trail, who all graciously got out of the way. Then at lunch, we heard some of them talk about how awesome it was to see the group of Corvettes come through and carve up the corners. The weather was perfect, albeit windy. Almost all the cars got through unscathed, but they all made it home under their own power. I can tell you that the cam, sway bars and shocks that I got since last year made a big difference on the twisty roads. I have approximately 62 GB of video that I am downloading.
