Track Info:
Chuckwalla Valley Raceway (CCW Configuration)
http://goracecvr.com/
25300 Rice Rd
Desert Center, CA 92239
Phone: (760) 227-3100
Note: California time is currently 1 hour earlier than Arizona time.

Track Gate/Entry Fees:
* Sat Admission:  $10/per person
* Sun Admission:  $10/per person
* Sat & Sun Admission:  $15/per person
* Over night fee (for Toy Haulers, RV's and Campers):  $15 (same rate for 1 or 2 nights)
NOTE:  Minors (i.e.  under 18) are free but a consenting adult must fill out the track's Minor Release of Liability Agreement for each minor.
Important, wear your CVR wristband all weekend long.  If a CVR staff member sees you w/o one, you will be required to go to the front officer to buy another one.  If you are a driver, you will not be allowed on track and could miss track time due to having to go to the front office and buy another one.

NOTE:  These are not charged by NASA.  These are fees set by the track.

Paddock / Gate Times
* Friday:  5PM - 9PM  NOTE:  A group has the track rented on Friday and we will not have access until after 5PM.  There will also NOT be a Friday Test & Tune.
* Saturday:  6AM - 9PM
* Sunday:  6AM - end of event

Paddock Parking Restrictions
The expected paddock pavement expansion project would be completed by our event but that will NOT be the case.  Paddock parking will be at a premium and this will be a large event.  The paddock is not big enough to fit everyone unless everyone parks tighter than accustomed to.  There will be painted white lines on the ground and each "box" is 20' x 50'.  On average, each driver needs to use LESS than the marked boxes so please only use what you need and only use more than 1 box if it isn't physically possible (Ex:  Motorhome and trailer is 65' long)

Event Schedule
“What time do I need to show up?” is the #1 question we are asked, especially by the folks new to NASA.  The gates will open at 6AM on Sat & Sun and the mandatory drivers meeting will start promptly at 7:30AM.  We always suggest showing up at least an hour before the drivers meeting to allow enough time to find a spot, check in with Driver Info (if you’re HPDE1) and get your car through tech and any other last min items before the drivers meeting.  For exact times see the attached (draft) schedule (at the bottom).
NOTE: Despite this being a "NASA Arizona" event, we will recognize “Pacific Time” (PDT) since we will be in CA.

HPDE Tech Inspection
Please print and fill out a tech form prior to arriving to tech http://www.nasaproracing.com/images/rules-forms/form_hpde_tech.pdf

TT Annual Tech Inspection
TT cars can go through the normal HPDE tech line but need to fill out the annual tech form (not the HPDE form) and bring their log book.
https://nasa-assets.s3.amazonaws.com/document/document/267/annual_tech_form.pdf

Race Annual Tech Inspection
All race cars must have their annual inspection completed by one of the authorized shops prior to arriving onsite OR be pre-registered (onsite fee and limited spots available) for an onsite annual tech inspection.  Please bring this form filled out and signed prior to arriving onsite.
https://nasa-assets.s3.amazonaws.com/document/document/267/annual_tech_form.pdf

Classing TT & Race
All competitors classing sheets will be publicly posted here http://www.nasaaz.com/category/competition-classing/ (classing sheets & dynos near the bottom of each respective page).  If you are competition and do not have a classing sheet on file you should have received an email from Jeff Abrams jeff@mazdamaniac.com to get you setup.  Please work with him offline prior to arriving onsite.

Driver Info / Registration
• If you are not wearing your waiver wrist band you may be asked by Driver Info to sign the waiver again
• HPDE1 will need to “check in” with registration @ the big white tent.  All other groups will receive their wristbands from their respective Group Leader directly after the Drivers Meeting
• There is still room in all groups so onsite registration should not be issue at this time.  NOTE:  Pre-registration is always less expensive and avoids delays in the morning though!

Rules
• All participants should be aware of the NASA Club Codes & Regulations found here (http://nasaproracing.com/rules/ccr.pdf)
• All participants should also be aware of the NASA Arizona region specific Supplemental Rules found here (http://www.nasaaz.com/classing-rules/supplemental-rules/)

Transponder Rentals
• Need to be checked out at registration
• Need to be returned to registration within 30 mins of your final session to avoid a late fee
• Time Attack competitors:  If you rented a transponder for your TA session, it is only available for your TA laps.  If you need a transponder for TT or Race group you will be required to pay for a full weekend rental.

Drivers Meetings / Downloads
The mandatory drivers meeting for all drivers (HPDE, TT, Race) will be held at Driver Info on Saturday morning (NOTE:  Sun morning Racers do not need to attend).  All other group meetings and download locations will be announced by your respective Group Leader directly after the morning drivers meeting.

Timing and Scoring
Results will be posted on our sign easels at Driver Info. If errors are found, please bring this to the attention of Driver Info or you TT / Race Director immediately to get corrected.
• Live (real time) T&S  http://www.race-monitor.com/
• Archived  http://timingscoring.drivenasa.com/NASA_Arizona_Region/

Attendance to our world famous Sat night BBQ is requested but requires either a driver wrist band or purchase of a guest wrist band ($10/person) via the pre-registration page. It is also the responsibility of all participants to ensure NO UNDER AGE DRINKING OCCUR AT THE EVENT!!!

The club provides bottled water for staff/volunteers @ registration.  That same water is also available to participants and guests @ 2 for $1 using the self serve cash box.

Photograph / Graphics
Caliphotography will be servicing the event. Please see them at the event for all your Professional on-track photo needs.
