Eddie44
Sorry about that! I just read "camp for kids with cancer" and assumed but didn't compare names. Probably still a good cause if folks are so inclined.

Guest badbobs95
I suggest that we again set-up a second staging area at the Chevron station/store at the southwest corner of Beeline Highway and Fort McDowell Road (across from the Fort McDowell Casino). Those coming from the southeast valley, and points south, who don't wish to drive up to Mayo Clinic can stage there. Somebody in the caravan can notify somebody at station when they reach Fountain Hills (Shea & Beeline), and the station group can then smoothly merge into the caravan as it passes by. BadBob took the phone call last year. Another reminder, let's meet around 10:00 at the Chevron in case they leave on time. It won't take them long to get there. McDowell Chevron, according to Google maps. Christine & I will be there. Bob: Has some reliable, trustworthy, and honest ACEsoul with a proven track record arranged to call you either from Mayo or when the buses & caravan reach Fountain Hills? Also, maybe you should share your phone number. I suggest you try using enlarged, bold, red font.

Eddie44
I know some of you are meeting at he Chevron. If you happen to get an early start why not come by Mayo so the kids have an additional few mins to ogle the pretty plastic. The families (parents and siblings) also get a chance. Just a thought. TheCMSH
Rob, Thanks for arranging such a rewarding experience! All this Mikey Rob, Thank you so much for your continued dedication to this organization and yearly event. In large groups like this we have a tendency to develop some disconnect and this is one of those events and causes which just galvanizes people. You are one helluva guy, and as my Father used to put it, "You definitely pretty up this place" Thanks to all who gave so that the kids could have a memory which they won't soon forget. The gratitude extended by the families, the kids, and the camp was very humbling. I'm definitely proud to be associated with this group Jim teh Commish

gdfromaz
This was our first event with ACE. My wife and I had such a great time. We look forward to doing many events with ACE. Thanks for setting this up. This is what a corvette club should be about. Not Dues or politics but giving back to the community. As parents, yesterday made us appreciate how grateful we are to have healthy children. To see those kids yesterday, knowing what they are dealing with, to be so excited to see the cars. It really touched our hearts!! When we got home last night, my wife and I went on the Camp Sunrise website and found a spot for donations. Not sure if everyone is aware of the history of Camp Sunrise and what they do Again, thanks to Rob for setting this up. George and Rose
