Oh come on man. In the office?

I saw you last week draping your jacket over the chair and walking away with lunch still on the counter. The bartender said that was your office.

Ha ha...the bartender is really the soda jerk. I think yer losin'it old man!

Were you at the airport restaraunt? I don't get over there too often, but I do keep an eye on cars in the parking lot when I see vette's pull in. Next time send me a text or PM if ya plan another visit!

Beautiful. Love the old planes. Bet that was cool to listen to. Thanks for posting it.

She sounded REAL good.

The Beech 18 and C-47 sounded equally nice. Didn't have time to get closer, and I missed a night shot of the 29 under the lights...had a Tri-motor the days before CAF and the airport parking was FUBAR...

Interesting story about a B-29.......my Dad's old business partner/friend (and my "flight instructor") flew the B-29 "It's Hawg Wild" from Tucson to England back in the early 80's' !!! :thumbs

I went up in it once when Skip was finishing the final preperations to fly it cross country and over the Atlantic to England following restoration work that was performed in Tucson. What a ride, doing touch and goes at Tucson International Airport. Great memories.....too bad Skip killed himself in a Cessna 421 at Ryan field later that year. So went my career in aviation.

I thought I saw yer ride in the parking lot sometime ago, but was on a break and had to get back to my class.

Cool story, and while I can't replace Skip, I can get ya' through a check ride and Pilot License!

Ya got me thinkin' too....I wonder if there might be 3 or 4 of us that would like to buy a plane together????

I could be in for that. I'd even be willing to go get this one and get it back to Phoenix.

My uncle is getting up in age and has been considering giving up his Mooney 231 before he's unable to pass the medical. Problem is, my cousin is a pilot as well and she will probably inherit it LOL.

I've spent a few hours buzzing around in that one...pretty fast plane, especially at cruise altitude.

My other uncle owns a Columbia 400......what a rocket that plane is.
