Lurch
Need to take the paint off my t tops and a section of the nose. What does everyone use and where do you get it? I used to use a product called Rock Miracle but it was very powerful. Thanks
Vet65te
Back when I was stripping lacquer paint off my 65 Coupe, Captain Lee's was a decent product to use. I see it's still available but not sure how it works on other types of paint like urethanes.Mike T - Prescott AZ

Guest badbobs95
If I may ask, why do you want to take the paint off completely? If you are going to re-paint, there is no need to remove the primer. If the tops are original paint, they are base coat-clear coat. They stopped using lacquer in 78 I believe. Call me and we can discuss your goals if you wish. Bad Bob 602-570-6416
Mregor
I used Spra' Strip on my C3. Worked well. Didn't bleed through on re-paint.

Not so fast
Shifty has the right idea but it is strong and available at Wal-Mart for a reasonable amount. I used it to strip powder coat off of my boat gauge trim rings. Sure would be nervous though about the Corvette NSF
