C4orce2 Posted October 2, 2014 Share Posted October 2, 2014 Most of you aren't aware of how FG operates. They have two levels of "members". You can be just a member with basically no rights. Then you can be a voting member by attending seven meetings a yr and planning or as they call it captaining an event. This allows some of their snowbirds to be members. Don't give Dawg and Greg ideas. They would want two classes of members for ACE also: the upper class would be for all vettes other than C4s; and the lower class would be for the "throw away generation" C4s. You were right that the car was covered but it was tucked away nice and safe in my garage sorry to say. Yeah, I read you had water problems of your own. Sorry you couldn't make it. I read a couple of emails that I received and said that you all had a great time and even LOVED the rain! All of our members thought you were the best "club" (or non as you prefer) in Arizona. They think you guys are GREAT! Dawg... sorry I couldn't hook you up with Mike Furman. We were walking around all morning together while I was taking photos. He shocked the hell our of my hubby and I. Everyone knew he was coming from Maryland but us! He surprised us at the Fri reception. I have talked to him for about 3 yrs on the phone or email...almost every day! I have sent a lot of business his way... who else has the allocation? He courtesy delivers all over the country. Had three trucks deliver to his dealership today... I have the photos! We know who had the most Corvettes and participation at the show. I like the ideal of an Acehole shirt that says the biggest "non-club" kicking your ass for the next show. Times can be tough and we've all felt the crunch at some point in our lives. Maybe it would've been better to mention that. Regardless, it's an awesome cause.
