joe@cpr.com
Figured I would post up some pics here to showcase the build of this C7. -First off we built our own longtube headers, these will be listed on corvette forum soon btw. -2'' primaries, u.s. stainless steel, made right here, ported flanges, u.s. made flanges, comes w/ oem gaskets, etc. -Picked up 33 rwhp 28 rwtq. w/ the only tune changes being to correct for AFR's -Now we are installing our custom cam and cnc ported heads (picture of tear down shown) -After tuning for the heads/ cam we will be installing an ECS supercharger with the first ever Novi 2200R on a C7 along w/ an alky control meth kit. RoccoC5
Wow, those headers are beautiful! Looking forward to following this build. What is that thing in front of the cam gear?
MOTV8
Wow, those headers are beautiful! Looking forward to following this build. What is that thing in front of the cam gear? I think it's the cam phaser for the variable valve timing. Could be completely wrong though, wouldn't be the first time....

I will say the Gen V motors are a lot more intense when it comes to doing a cam swap. Oil pan has to come off to get the front cover, oil pump, timing set off. There is also a few other things that need to get done that we are keeping close to our chest I will say cam installs are significantly longer ie around 18 hours now because there is not cover or oil pan gasket so you have to clean/ prep the heck out of them. Along w/ all the extra items to remove just to get the cam out, I will say pulling the steering rack now is stupid easy haha.
Final Effort
I watched on GearHead they did a similar build even using n20. Now the funny part, car only ran LOW12s.

I can give someone a ton of hp but if they can't drive for $hit there isn't much I can do there haha.

Had TF drivers, JR Todd V Clay Milican. Neither knew what they were doing. LOL Now if the show would have used a couple ProStock drivers the results I'm sure would have been better. joe@cpr.com
Here are some more tear down pics. The new cam and heads are on and done, now it's blower and meth system. The fender is off for mounting of the meth pump by the washer reservoir tank. Should have some more good pics today for everyone.

joe@cpr.com
Here are some more pics. The white c7 is pretty much done, just need to put back on exhaust and do fluids. The rear cargo shot is to show the new back, we have to do all the meth kit wiring back there, so hence the reason it's even showed. Also I added the last pic to show the other c7 getting an ECS blower, our headers, and the lmr breather tank. Car is an auto also (yellow one) the C5 is also getting an A&A kit
