new vette 62 Posted August 15, 2013 Author Share Posted August 15, 2013 Things are moving along. Washed the inside out after scraping, wire brushing, etc to get the inside cleaned up. We installed the Vintage Air and ran the hoses. Talk about ten pounds of sh1t in a 5 lb bag. We have the whole dash out now so I can't imagine installing the AC unit if it was in. Radiator is next with the hoses then the Hushmat inside the car. I don't have any recent photos but will be adding more soon. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

new vette 62 Posted August 19, 2013 Author Share Posted August 19, 2013 I moved the parking brake to the top of the trailing arm to gain more tire clearance. It used to be on the side. Here is the new radiator installed along with the top hose. Still looking for a bottom hose to fit. Have a wire bent in the shape we will be taking to NAPA to find a hose. new vette 62 Posted August 22, 2013 Author Share Posted August 22, 2013 The radiator is a Dewitt's and they are Spal fans that came with the radiator.Dash is in along with the pedals. This is the rear blower only on 65 and 66 models. What a pain really useless but do want to keep some things original if I ever sell it. It looks good all cleaned up but will be covered up with carpeting. Dash from right side. I don't know yet if I like the color being different from the dash pad to the center piece. Once all the carpet and red trim is in we will see.Clutch linkage is all hooked up and the pedal moves. P.S. Monique got me insured and saved me a lot of money.
