65sting Posted April 4, 2013 Share Posted April 4, 2013 Started my laundry list of jobs. Royal Purple 50 & New K&N New plugs, detailed engine. Had a side pipe hanger break, had to drill out and bolt on some new hardware. Waxed and polished everywhere. Took it to Detroit Muscle Show last weekend (A Ford sponsored show) it was real nice and I took a second place for 60-65 modified. Installed new door panels. While they were out I removed window assembly's and cleaned and re-lubed all parts. (Cranks like new!) Installed new rubber gaskets. Removed console and re-painted Plan on driving to San Diego for "Plastic Fantastic" taking it in to Doug for a Endurashine manifold upgrade, install a new wiper motor and check my last 6 months work for me and make sure everything is tight. C4orce2 Posted April 4, 2013 Share Posted April 4, 2013 If you haven't been to plastic fantastic before, you will love it. Took my car in '09 before the rebuild and took 2nd in the C4 class. The club I was with then always got there very early so we got to park at the very tip of the park so there was water on three sides of us. Have fun and good luck!! Good times await in SD -- maybe next year for me with my older C4. Should be ready by then. Don't forget to take lots' o pictures with both the Ace Salute and the requisite pointing.
