Here ya go... Not exactly engine porn, but it put a tingle- nevermind, you get the idea :rockon2: So far the only upgrades are the oil pump and timing chain, but I have a feeling the intake manifold may be next on the list, along with P/S pump Also a pic of the old one coming out this morning:

Now I see what the problem was. The engine was installed upside down. :facepalm:

I don't quite understand how that happened...was right side up on iPad! :smilelol

Why no upgrades thats evil cam, roller rockers, Intake come on you know you want to its not that much just pull the trigger now while its out and easy. :banannarainbow: And yes the upside down picture thing continues... wondered what was up with that in the last thread.

Nice! I wouldn't go carb, but I would go with teh TPIS Mini-Ram...

That would be a real cool mod...

but $$$ is a real problem. I'm just letting LPM do what they think is best. I'm sure they will probably surprise me in some fashion. :edward:

I've seen quite a few of them on teh 4sale forums on teh big boards....

Hope I can make the Ajo lunch, but I'll still be under break in rules!

All my neighbors and coworkers have been asking "where's the vette?" Had no idea it was so popular. Got to talk to Dave for awhile yesterday, looked like the intake was fine. They wanted to take the time to clean everything up and I was happy to tell them "please do" as I have the new Honda to get around. I feel very fortunate to have the LPM crew working the voodoo that they do, so well!

So, I will focus my mechanical abilities on taking care of fixing those seats, sorry Andrew...no blower, but I am thinking about that TPiS miniram!

Teh only problem with teh Mini-Ram is, that it will really want more cam. If you do more cam, you'll need more heads...jeebus, it never ends...

Teh problem is teh limitations for teh little runner/small chamber heads, they are designed to match that low-flowing TPI intake that produces a lot of torque down low. Gotta do all three to make it worth doing... :bang
